26th December 2008 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: 15-15 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot clean surf Air Temperature: 3ºC Sea Temperature: 9ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Lovely offshore day with some nice winds. Started off well powered with my 5.6m sail and Hybrid Freewave and down over the bar was well and truly stacked, but the wind gradually eased off so I had trouble getting back to where I started from and ended up with a bit of a swim back to shore. Good whilst the wind was up though, with some nice little speedy wave rides. Typically once back at home the wind filled in again. Maybe I'll go out in the estuary tomorrow as it is a little off-putting being out on a small board in offshore winds and sub-zero temps with no ones else on the beach. |
